Weekdays, 7:00am – 6:00pm

Our trainers evaluate your dog for size, temperament, physical condition, energy level and play style. If your dog is a good fit for daycare, we then let you know which days would be best for your dog, as we create play groups with good balance to ensure your dog is happy and safe.

Getting Started

When dogs arrive at daycare they are taken outside to our play yards, so they can relieve themselves. in good weather, the dogs can be inside, or outside as they wish. Our outside play areas give the dogs access to pea-gravel for ‘business’, pools to lounge in, lots of space to sunbathe and shaded areas to relax. Safety is our first concern and our play yards are fenced accordingly. Inside the building the dogs have large play areas with padded floors and of course, heat in the winter.

The daycare dogs spend their mornings playing and then have quiet time from 12-2pm. After their naps, they go back out to play with their friends.

Rest Time

Much like children, dogs are prone to squabbles and injury when too much activity is allowed over too long a period. This is why rest periods are a mandatory part of the day for our dogs. This decompression time for your pet not only benefits them physically and mentally, but also aids their self-control and coping skills.

Safety First

All dogs have been temperament tested, but we also have the benefit of having trained 80+% of the dogs who attend daycare at Dog Zone. This affords us greater control of the play groups. We want the daycare dogs to have fun, but we also want them to understand their are rules and they have to follow them.

Daycare Pricing

Evaluation Day: First day for new dogs both daycare and training

$50 per dog and must be paid prior to the dog being scheduled

NOTE: If your dog has not been to daycare for a period of 30 days, his or her suitability must be re-evaluated and the cost is $50
